DSP spectrometer
The DSP spectrometer is housed in a rugged aluminium case requires a 24Volt DC power source. This can be provided by 2 x 12V DC car batteries in series for work in the field. A seperate DC Power supply is available from magritek that is specifically built to handle the pulsed current requirements of the system.
EFNMR probe
The EFNMR probe consists of 2 coaxial solenoids and a MFG (magnetic field gradient) coil. The outer or polarizing (Bp) coil is wound with thick wire and is used to provide an initial polarizing field via the application of a large current - establishing a nuclear magnetisation in a sample placed inside the apparatus. The inner or B1 coil is used to excite and detect the precessing magnetisation.
